The Tazewell CC is seven miles west of Tazwell on the Gov Peery Highway.
The course is set in a picturesque, valley setting surrounded by the Appalachian Mountains on the south bank of the Cinch River. It's an entertaining layout featuring level and rolling, fairways defined by old growth, hardwoods with multiple ponds and streams in play and modest, contoured greens fortified by sand bunkers. It's a short 6,127 yards, 69.9/121, course/slope ratings, par of 71, off the back tees with two shorter tees with design work by Dan Maples.
