Teal Bend is on the Sacramento River on the west side of the International Airport near I-5.

The golf course is a parkland layout with broad and narrow, fairway corridors defined by trees over level terrain. There are multiple water hazards in play in the form of wetlands and ponds creating several risk/reward opportunities in addition to 45+ sand bunkers. It was designed by Brad Bell to a total length of 7,061 yards, 73.2/130, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
