The Beaufort Club is 5 miles north of downtown Beaufort, off US 70 to the west, in a real estate development.

The layout is dominated by water in the form of wetlands, creeks, ponds, and lakes along with a generous amount of sculptured sand bunkering and sandy waste areas. There are five sets of tees from 4,994 yards to 7,210 yards off the back tees; the White middle tees play to 6,293 yards, 71.0/135, course/slope ratings, designed by Bob Moore.
