The Canyons at Blackjack Ridge is 10 minutes west of Tulsa off the Sand Springs Expressway.

The golf course is a parkland layout lumbering through the forests over rolling hills with views of downtown Tulsa from a few spots. There's narrow fairways off the tee over a modest change in elevation producing uneven lies and awkward approaches the small to mid-sized greens with sand bunkers mostly greenside. It's not a long course at only 6,113 yards from the tips with a par of 71, 69.5/125, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Floyd Farley in the late 1950s with redesign work by Randy Heckenkemper.
