The Country Club at the Golden Nugget is located on the west side of Lake Charles off I-210 on the Bayou Contraband.

The golf course is a links-style design over level terrain along the lowland of the Bayou Contraband. There's small groves of trees framing the fairways along with an abundance of sand, both waste area and conventional bunkers, and water hazards from the Bayou's canals frequently in play. It's 6,909 yards from the tips with a 130 slope and 6,105 from the middle, #3 tee, 70.8/123, course/slope ratings, designed by Todd Eckenrode in 2015.
