The Freeport Club is on the southwest side of Freeport just north of Yellow Creek and Krape Park.

The layout is challenging as it marches over rolling contours along fairway corridors flanked by old growth hardwoods. There's sand bunkers defending the sides of the modest green complexes and a couple of water features and otherwise is a shot maker's layout with numerous doglegs and constant elevation change. It's a short, 6,366 yards, 70.8/122, course/slope ratings off the back tees with two shorter tees, designed by Harry Collis.
