Wolf Hollow is 45 minutes west of Rockford on the north side of Lena, surrounded by farmland.

The layout is a parkland-style design winding along scattered, tree-lined fairways over rolling hills. Several streams and ponds are in play. Numerous slight doglegs and sand bunkers defend the majority of the greens. It was designed by Gordon Cunningham in the late 1990s and plays to 6,408 yards from the tips, 70.9/122 course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
