The Legacy Golf Club is in southern Michigan near the Ohio border off US 23 at exit 5 then west 2 miles on US-223.

The golf course is surrounded by an ocean of corn or wheat fields and a mix of links and parkland elements with the signature hole featuring a par 3, island green. The mounded fairways are reasonably open but bordered by sand bunkers, water hazards, and tall native grasses with the generous, green complexes contoured with collection areas. It was designed by Arthur Hills in 1997 and plays to 6,828 yards, 71.8/127, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tees.
