Ottawa Park is on the northwest side of Toledo near the University of Toledo.

The golf course is a classic layout cruising over the hills and forests of Ottawa Park with the Ottawa River and two ponds coming into play on multiple holes and sand traps defending the modest greens. It's an abnormally short course at 5,079 yards from the tips, 70.7/126, course/slope ratings with par of 71 and two shorter tees. Historically, it's allegedly the oldest course west of the Eastern Seaboard and held first National Amateur Public Links Tournament in 1922. It was originally designed by S.P. Jermain in 1899 with a renovation by local favorite son, Arthur Hills in 1977.
