The Ravines is west of Lafayette on Division surrounded by farmland and forests north of the Wabash River.

The course's layout is straightforward with scattered tree lined fairways over land with a slight change in elevation over a natural tract of land with homes along a few holes. There's a modest amount and variety of sand bunkers along the fairways and greens with several water hazards in play. It has four sets of tees from 5,247 to 6,899 yards, the whites are at 6,173 yards, 69.0/114, course/slope ratings designed by Dwayne Daymeyer.
