The Rock Golf Club is 10 miles north of Pickens on US 178 near Table Rock State Park and Jocassee Gorges Management Area.

The golf course is over hilly land, rolling along natural corridors with the occasional home or townhouse along the fairways. Several streams and ponds, as well as a waterfall, are in play, and there are less than 25 sand bunkers with greens of modest size, some of which are elevated. There are five sets of tees, from 4,619 yards to 6,695 yards off the black tees. The white tes are 6,002 yards, 68.7/125, course/slope ratings, designed by Russell Breeden.
