Tijeras Creek is within a residential development off CA 241 on Antonio Parkway in Rancho Santa Margarita in southern Orange County.

The layout provides for a modest start over relatively level terrain through the homesites with fairways bordered with old growth sycamores, oaks, and native chaparral and three water hazards in play. The back nine is an impressive step above in quality and character with varying degrees of elevation change, blind shots, false fronts on the greens, sand bunkers, but only two water hazards. The golf course was designed by Ted Robinson and plays to 7,003 yards from the championship tees, 73.8/136, course/slope ratings with five shorter tees.
