San Juan Hills is a municipal golf course just off the I-5 at Ortega Highway north of San Clemente.

The golf course is a parkland style design winding along tree lined fairways mostly through a residential development although there are several isolated holes with natural borders. There's several water hazards in play, numerous slight doglegs, and sand traps mostly greenside and the occasional fairway. The golf course plays to 6,317 yards from the tips, par 71, 70.3/128, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by David and Harry Rainville in 1967.
