Timber Ridge is on the northeast side of Lansing off the I-69 exit at Webster Road/exit #92, then south.

The golf course was craved through a hardwood forest with seven water hazards and narrow driving lanes off the tee. The greens are of moderate size, slightly sloped, and well-bunkered at the sides. It can play to 6,620 yards from the tips, 73.0/144, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Jerry Matthews in 1989.
