Timberton cruises through the pine trees of a residential development southwest of Hattiesburg off I-59 at exit 60.

The golf course offers a variety of holes along rolling, tree-lined fairways bordering lakes and streams with well-bunkered landing zones and greens. The greens are ample in size, and a few are elevated or crowned with smooth putting surfaces. Four sets of tees range from 5,300 to 7,100 yards, with the white tees playing to 6,320 yards, 70.1/135, course/slope ratings, designed by Mark McCumber.
