Timberton cruises through the pine trees of a residential development southwest of Hattiesburg off I-59 at exit 60.

The golf course provides for a variety of holes along rolling, tree lined fairways bordering lakes and streams with well bunkered landing zones and greens. The greens are ample in size and a few elevated or crowned with smooth putting surfaces. There's four sets of tees from 5,300 to 7,100 yards with the white tees playing to 6,320 yards, 70.1/135, course/slope ratings, designed by Mark McCumber.
