TPC Myrtle Beach is in Murrells Inlet carved through the low lying forests east of the Waccamaw River without homes or development along the golf course.

The layout is challenging with numerous forced carries along the narrow, pine tree lined fairways and approaches with an abundance of wetlands and sand bunkers in play along the fairways and guarding the massive, green complexes. It was designed by Tom Fazio and Lanny Wadkins and plays to 6,950 yards, 74.0/145 course/slope ratings from the back tees with four shorter tee boxes.
