Valleywood is on Toledo's southwest side, just west of the Toledo Express Airport on the Airport Highway.

It's a traditional layout winding along tree-lined fairways. It's straightforward and playable, save for Ai Creek, which snakes through from east to west, and sand bunkers defending many of the greens. There are a few drivable par 4s and a couple of par 5s, which are possibly reachable in two, providing optional risk/reward opportunities. It's a short course at 6,364 yards from the back tees, 70.2/120 course/slope ratings, and three shorter tees.
