Verona Hills is just east of Bad Axe on Sand Beach Road well out in the country without homes or development along the golf course.

The routing is over rolling hills winding along tree lined fairways with numerous dramatic and slight, doglegs leading to generous greens well defended by sand bunkers. There's a variety of long and short par 4s, a few of the par 5s are reachable in two, and an interesting set of par 3s. There's four sets of tees overall from 5,140 yards to 6,466 from the tips, the white tees play to 6,127 yards, 70.4/127, course/slope ratings.
