Weekapaug GC is between Providence and New London off I-95 at Westerly off the Post Road on the north side of Winnapaug Pond.

The layout has primarily links features over hard and fast, broad fairways bordered by tall fescue with an abundance of sand bunkers along the fairways and defending the interesting green complexes. The elements are always in play here with either landward or seaward winds in addition to a few holes along the Pond. The course is private during most of the summer season, but allows public play before May 15 and after October 15. Take the opportunity to play Weekapaug if you're in the area, it has to be one of the best 9 holers in the northeast. It's a short 3,091 yards from the tips, 70.4/124, course/slope ratings for 18 holes with two shorter tees, designed by Phil Wogan and Sam Urso in the 1960s.
