Whispering Willows is owned by the City of Livonia and located off I-96 at the Newburgh Road exit north.

The routing winds through a mix of lightly and heavily wooded, rolling terrain bordered by a few ponds and a stream and the occasional sand bunker with sand traps defending most greens.
