Wildcat is 30 minutes northwest of Cedar Falls in Shellsburg partially bordering a small residential community.

The layout is an open, parkland design with scattered trees defining the fairways, numerous ponds and Bear Creek in play, and minimal sand traps. It's a short layout at 6,354 yards from the tips, 70.2/121, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Mark Kerr.
