Wildflower Golf Course is located in Northwest Minnesota, about 10 minutes southwest of Detroit Lakes on the north side of Pelican Lake, 45 minutes from Fargo.

The course is a links-style layout, known as "Prairie Links" here, and features a 100-foot elevation change. The broad fairways are lined with tall, native grasses and sand traps, leading to massive green complexes defended by sand bunkers. It was designed by Joel Goldstrand and is 7,000 yards from the black tees, with 74.6/133 course/slope ratings and four shorter tee boxes.
