Wilmington Municipal is owned and operated by the city and located on the east side of town just south of the University of N Carolina at Wilmington.

It's a classic, Donald Ross parkland design with mostly straightforward holes along slightly rolling, tree lined fairways bordered by sandy waste areas with modest, raised greens well protected by the Ross style, deep faced bunkers. It plays to 6,565 yards, 71.3/128, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tee boxes, restored after a 2014 renovation by John Fought.
