Winding Brook is just off the Taconic outside Valatie on Route 203 20 miles south of Albany.

The course is a parkland style design situated between the Berkshire and Catskill Mountains on a large, 265 acre tract of land. It saunters over rolling terrain along pine tree lined fairways with water features on half the holes and sand bunkers defending the greens and the occasional fairway. It's only 6,106 yards 69.0/123, course/slope ratings from the tips, par of 70 with two shorter tees, designed by Paul Roth in 1962.
