Aberdeen is west of St. Louis in Eureka along the Meramec River bottomland.

The golf course is a flat, links-style layout over mounded and undulating broad, fescue-lined fairways bordered by numerous water hazards with a creative mix of pot and conventional sand bunkers, including the "church pews." The course was designed by Gary Kern, and from the blue tees is 6,291 yards, 70.3/120, course/slope ratings with two longer and two shorter tees.
