The Landings at Spirit is 30 miles west of downtown St. Louis in Chesterfield in the valley between the bluffs of Missouri River and the Spirit of St. Louis Airport.

The level layout has a links feel to it with scattered trees along wide open, mounded fairways bordered by pot and conventional, sand bunkers leading to multi-tiered double greens with wild natural areas at the borders. There's five sets of tees overall with the Harrier tees at 6,406 yards, 69.6/114, course/slope ratings, designed by Roger Null.
