Back Creek is 40 minutes south of Wilmington in Middletown off US 301 to the west within a residential development on the Maryland border.

The layout is an open links style design journeying through a residential development along mostly broad fairways. There's water hazards in play on multiple holes, sand traps guarding the fairways and greens, and tall fescue at the fairways borders. It was designed by David Horne and Allen Liddecoat and from the back tees is 7,113 yards, 74.4/134, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
