Beaver Dam is on the north side of town on the eastern shore of Beaver Dam Lake.

The golf course is a classic, parkland layout with evergreen and oak tree dotted fairways traveling over slightly, undulating topography. It's generally straightforward save for several gentle doglegs with a few water features in play and sand bunkers typically defending the modest, oval or kidney shaped greens. It's a short, 6,038 yards, 58.3/116, course/slope ratings off the back tees with two shorter tees.
