Bent Oak is on the south side of Elkhart off the Lincoln Highway between Main St. and SR 19.

Save for a few fairways the golf course is lined by homes although the corridors are somewhat broad. It's a generally straightforward layout dotted with ponds on seven holes, less than 40 sand bunkers, and greens of various shapes and sizes. There's four sets of tees from 5,360 yards to 6,504 yards off the tips, 71.8/132, course/slope ratings, designed by Gary Keaffaber.
