Black Squirrel is on the southwest side of Goshen on Plymouth Avenue within a residential community.

The golf course is a parkland design with a blend of narrow and broad, tree lined fairways, water hazards on half the holes, and sand bunkers mostly greenside. From the back tees it's 6,516 yards, the White tees are a good test at 6,243 yards, 70.9/123, course/slope ratings, designed by Tom Zimmerman in the 1970s.
