Boise Ranch is southwest of Boise, at the southwest corner of Lake Hazel and Cloverdale Road, which partially borders a residential development.

The golf course is designed in a parkland style, with rolling topography along fairways bordered by scattered trees. Multiple water hazards, including Tenmile Creek and several ponds, and sand bunkers, mostly greenside, are in play. There are five sets of tees overall, and the tips play to 6,607 yards, 70.8/126, course/slope ratings, designed by Russ Isbell in the mid-1990s.
