Falcon Crest is located 7 miles southwest of Boise on South Cloverdale Road, bordering the New York Canal to the south with 27 championship holes and an executive-level layout.

The main Falcon Crest layout features a variety of terrain and design elements along broad and narrow, tree-lined fairways. Over half the holes have water hazards, and various shapes and sizes of sand bunkers defend the fairways and generous, undulating greens. It plays from 7,089 yards, 72.5/122 course/slope ratings at the tips, with three other sets of tees designed by Hans Borbonus.

The Freedom Course has a wide open, linksy layout with tall fescue at the fairway borders, multiple water features, and deep sand traps along the landing zones, guarding the ample greens. It plays to 3,914 yards from the professional tees, 38.7/147, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Borbonus and George Tortorica.
