Briar Leaf is just off the La Porte exit/Rt39 of the Indiana Toll Road to the south, about a mile from the toll plaza.

The layout is a parkland design with trees lining the fairways, partially through a residential community over mostly level land. There's water in play on eight holes, a variety of shapes and sizes of sand traps, and an island green, par 3, coincidentally named Alcatraz! It's 6,579 yards from the tips, 72.5/133, course/slope ratings, and three shorter tees.
