Briar Leaf is just off the La Porte exit/Rt39 of the Indiana Toll Road to the south about a mile from the toll plaza.

The layout is a parkland design with trees lining the fairways partially through a residential community over mostly level land. There's water in play on eight holes, a variety of shapes and sizes of sand traps, and a island green, par 3 coincidentally named Alcatraz! It's 6,579 yards from the tips, 72.5/133, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
