Legacy Hills is a few miles off the Indiana Toll Road on the northwest side of La Porte.

It's a tale of two nines with the front nine a traditional layout from the early 1900s designed by L. Auchter Torris and later by Langford and Moreau, and the back side designed by Ernest Schrock in 2005. The front is shorter and features tree lined fairways leading to modest, raised greens guarded by sand bunkers. The back side is more open off the tee with broad fairways along numerous water hazards and sand bunkers leading to generous, contoured greens. There's four sets of tees with the tips playing to 6,512 yards, 71.4/128, course/slope ratings.
