The Brookshire Inn and Golf Club is east of Lansing at exit 117 at I-96 in downtown Williamston.

The layout is a tale of two nines. The front nine is relatively wide open off the tees with stands of trees at the margins, while the 300-yard shorter backside moves along constricted fairway corridors leading to well-defended, modest greens. Sand bunkers dominate the front side, and water hazards, including the Red Cedar River, dominate the back. The golf course plays to 6,202 yards from tips, 69.9/125, course/slope ratings, designed by W. Bruce Matthews and W. Bruce Matthews III.
