Brown Deer Golf Course is a municipal golf course owned by the city of Coalville. It is located just off I-80 at exit 242 to the north within an upscale residential community.

The golf course is a parkland design with a relatively open front nine while the backside strolls along narrow, tree-lined, hilly fairways. It's well bunkered throughout the fairways and greens with water hazards in various shapes and forms in play on twelve holes. It's a rather short layout at 6,315 yards from the tips, 71.0/126, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by William Spear.
