Finkbine is the University of Iowa golf course located west of town, just west of Kinnick Stadium.

The course flows over narrow, hilly, tree-lined fairways with sand along the landing areas, defending the quick, undulating greens. There's an interesting mix of holes with multiple doglegs and a 100-yard, par 3 island green. From the tips it plays to 7,030 yards, 74.6/134, course/slope ratings, the middle tees are 6,632 yards, 72.0/128, designed by Robert Harris in 1953 and redesigned by Dick Nugent in 1996.
