Callahan is north of Atlanta off I-575 north of Canton on Rt 140 just south of Waleska.

The golf course is an interesting layout with a combination of links-style and parkland elements over rolling contours with numerous ponds and streams in play and a modest amount of sand traps. There a variety of target holes where placement shots are required while others are wide open off the tees. It plays to 6,839 yards from the Black tees, 73.0/132, course/slope ratings with three shorter sets of tees down to 4,373 yards, designed by D.J. DeVictor in the mid-2000s.
