The Calusa Country Club is on the east side of Lakewood Ranch off I-75 at SR 70.

The golf course is within a residential community and features broad fairways with water hazards in play on every hole and over 100 pot and conventional sand bunkers. There are six tees from 3,798 yards to 7,404 yards, designed by Gordon Lewis.
