Cape May National is just north of Cape May on the west side of the Garden State Parkway.

The layout is a mix of holes through tree-lined corridors and those that are more open, and overall, it is a drill in course management with water hazards in play on 11 holes and the inventive use of sand bunkers. It cruises along a scenic setting through a bird sanctuary bordering salt marshes without homes or development. It was designed by Robert Mullock and Karl Litten in 1991 and plays to 6,905 yards, 73.0/136, course/slope ratings, and four shorter tees.
