Shore Gate Golf Club is just off the Garden State at Sea Isle City within a 245 acre natural tract of pine barrens.

The golf course is a challenging, parkland design over rolling laurel, oak, holly, and pine tree lined fairways with water hazards on eight holes. Three's a generous amount of sand bunkers in the form of fairway-long waste areas, conventional, and pot bunkers with moguls and mounding providing generally uneven fairways. The greens are over-sized with heavy undulation and swales running throughout. There's five sets of tees from 5,284 yards to 7,227 yards, the middle tees are 6,335 yards, 70.7/132, course/slope ratings, designed by Ron Fream.
