Twisted Dune is 15 minutes from Atlantic City in Egg Harbor, off the Garden State Parkway to the west.

The golf course is a links-style design with some elevation change along deep ravines, grass-covered hills, 100+ deep sand bunkers, and five water hazards. The layout actually twists through the corridors of dunes and hills, with the north side of the course a former quarry adding to the rough feel. It plays to 7,248 yards, 74.9/130, course/slope ratings from the back tees with four shorter tees. The course was designed by Archie Struthers, who moved 2 million yards of dirt and sand to create a maniacal landscape for a golf course.
