Cedar Chase is 30 minutes north of Grand Rapids in Cedar Springs, off US 131 to the east.

The golf course is a challenging parkland design, trekking through stands of hardwood forests and open meadows, and while roomy off the tee, the approaches to the greens are pinched. Sand is the dominant feature here, with various long, waste, conventional, and pot bunkers and several water hazards impacting play.
