Cedar Knob is east of Enfield off I-91 at exit 47 about 30 minutes from either Hartford or Springfield.

The course is out on its own without houses or development along the holes. It moves along narrow, tree-lined fairways with slight and dramatic doglegs, water hazards in play on a few holes, and a moderate amount of bunkering mostly around the greens. The par 5s may be reachable in two, a couple is interesting short par 4s, and two stout par 3s of 200+ yards. It's fairly long at 6,734 yards from the tips, or as short as 5,784 yards, the White tees are at 6,298 yards, 70.3/125, course/slope ratings, designed by Geoffrey Cornish.
