Cedar Valley is on the southeast side of Winona, just across the Mississippi River from La Crosse.

There are three nine-hole layouts here: Trouts Run, Treasure Island, and The Green Monster. All three journey through a scenic setting in a valley and along the bluffs of the surrounding hills with numerous lakes and ponds and a moderate amount of sand traps at the landing zones and greenside. From the White tees, the Green Monster is 3,264 yards, 36.3/145, course/slope ratings; Trouts Run is 3,102 yards, 34.9/127; and Treasure Island the easiest at 2,759 yards, 34.8/120, with one longer and one shorter tee, designed by Wayne Idso.
