Chippewa is a gem located southwest of Akron in Doylestown off Great Lakes Blvd just north of Clinton.

The course has a variety of challenging holes winding through the tree lined hills of Central Ohio. The fairways are generally broad with old growth, hardwood trees at the borders, but narrow on approach to the greens well defended by sand bunkers. The back nine is a shade more challenging as it moves through the hills with holes 14, 15, and 16 known as the "Bermuda Triangle" offering an opportunity to completely soil a good round. From the Blue Tees it's 6,756 yards, 71.8/122, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by James Harrison and Ferdinand Garbin in the early 1960s.
