Crab Orchard Golf Course is just north of Carbondale off I-57 at exit 54 west on Main Street in Carterville.

The course is a parkland layout winding along tree lined fairways over rolling contours generally with plenty of room off the tee. There's numerous water hazards in play and a modest amount of sand bunkers mostly around the generous greens. From the tips is 6,420 yards, par 70, 71.2/127, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Roy Glenn in 1959.
