Hickory Ridge is a municipal course on the northwest side of Carbondale off West Main Street.

It's a parkland style design along broad, tree lined fairways winding around a large lake in the middle in addition to several ponds and streams in play. The layout provides a variety of long and short holes, numerous doglegs, and 40 sand bunkers along the landing zones and defending the greens. From the back tees it's 6,863 yards, 73.0/129, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Bill Spear in the early 90s.
