Eagle Mountain is located eight miles east of the 101 Freeway off Shea in Fountain Hills/eastern Scottsdale within an upscale residential community.

This course is a desert style layout over the foothills of the Sonoran Desert. There's varying degrees of elevation change, forced carries over natural waste areas, box canyons, and ravines, and only two water hazards, but an abundance and variety of sand bunkers defending the fairways and generous greens. Elevated tees provide stunning views around the valley and of Red Mountain, Camelback, and the Four Peaks. The course plays to 6,800 yards, 71.4/134, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees, designed by Scott Miller.
