The Talon Course is a desert layout routed along deep box canyons with a handful of holes with steep drop-offs traversing thick stands of Mesquite, Palo Verde, and Ironwood trees. There's water hazards coming into play on a couple of holes and large, undulating greens with views of the McDowell Mountains and the Phoenix Valley throughout. It was designed by David Graham and Gary Panks in 1994 and plays to 6,973 at the tips, 73.3/146, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
The Raptor Course marches over rolling hills and natural washes in the Sonoran Desert with Saguaro cacti and Mesquite trees bordering the fairways. The fairways are fairly generous but a number of fairway bunkers will catch the slightly off-line drive. The greens tend to be large and fast with a fair amount of undulation and the approaches guarded by deep bunkering, both grass and sand. It can play to 7,090 yards from the tips, 74.2/140, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Tom Fazio in 1995.
